Caren McVicker has been self-employed for more 25 years. Her consulting career began as a software documentation and training consultant on Wall Street. Working with clients such as Lipper Analytical Services (now a Reuters Company), The Associated Press, Goldman Sachs, Frito Lay and Nabisco, she honed her technology, training, and time management skills against the backdrop of big business.
In 2011, Caren founded PowerWeek.com, an online application designed to help entrepreneurs develop the fundamental success habits they need to achieve long-term success.
It was while she was building PowerWeek that Caren had the opportunity to work side-by-side with a top social media marketing firm in Boston. She learned from the best how to marry your mission with your marketing plan, develop your voice, and grow your online presence.
Now a full-time resident of Vermont, Caren is excited to see her PowerWeek vision transform and grow into a social media marketing consulting team. She is thrilled to have an opportunity to share her experience and empower local businesses and non-profits to achieve more success online in less time.
